Many thanks to Aidan, Joe and the team for re-painting my Messerschitt Bubble car with such care and attention to detail. I have very high standards and restore my cars to top show winning condition and AV Classics were able to help me achieve the standard of paint finish i wanted. I had been searching for a Company for a long time that knows how to treat and work on classics to this standard and via the Aston Martin Piston Heads site found AV Classics. To top it all they are about a mile from where I live!!!
I will definitely use them again for my Aston later this year and have no hesitation recommending them for body work.

I have a few classics including a Jaguar e-type series 3 and one of the last Austin Healey 3000s of the production line that were in need of full restoration. Last year I spent months checking out and visiting many companies. I was very impressed with AV Classics quality of work, friendly approach, experience in all aspects of work and price. The finished product was 100%. I have now bought a Jaguar e-type series 2 which needs a full nut and bolt restoration and have commissioned AV Classic once again. I am happy for AV Classics to give my phone number if anyone wants to talk to me directly.
I popped Valerion (my DB9) across to the most capable hands of Aidan at AV Classics to sort the odd spots of corrosion and a give the car a respray for a tenth birthday present – I had decided the car was a keeper!
The results were frankly superb and to my eyes better the the factory finish – a beautiful mirror smooth finish. Indeed Aidan and the boys seem being kept busy by Gaydons finest as quite a few went through his workshops for paint while mine was there. On top of this I had the wheels re-powder coated (in Tungsten rather that the original DB9 LM grey) and diamond cut once more.
If the exterior wasn’t enough I went a little mad (actually, probably very mad), and commissioned Aidan’s grand master trimmer (Mr John Turner) to retrim the interior. John used to trim the Vanquish MKI in a previous life and it shows – the work was simply fabulous.
I’m a big fan of the original Sara Maynard modernist interior and wanted to upgrade the interior whilst still being sympathetic to the original design.. To which end, with a little inspiration from the DB9 Sportmodificato, I choose a partial quilted finish for the retrim.
Thanks to Aidian and Crew ( you know who you are) My TR5 won First place in the Concours at our recent show.The hard work was so worth it all round and the paintwork is stunning,stopping many a member in their tracks.I got the painted repaired body shell back and then duly fitted him up.Brings a huge smile every time I go into my garage.

estalibsh jensen companys.i have had interceptor for 3 years but never seem to run right and had to find somone who could do it at short notice without knowing much about the company.with hours of receiveing my car they were able to find thefault too do the fuel line and get the mot done for me within a day and apprise me of other things.the first jensen speialist said that they had fixed the problem and other issues.l got the car back to find thes issues had not been fix and decided 2use another jensen companyi booked my car with them 2be done in october 2013only to find that by january 2014 they sitll had not started it.not only have they save me £ somthings
that t was told i need 2do my these companys.honest and very proffesional in every way with great advice i now plan to do the rest of the issues to do with my interceptor with the company were i know i will a first class service.
AV Classic first came to my attention when we were invited as a club (North London TR Register) to their open day.This involved a check over our cars hoisted up in the air and for some the first close up inspection.The day was enjoyed on all sides and we all got something out of it.My project TR5 was floundering at this point due to the previous owners attempt of restoring the body shell (he is still trading as a professional restorer of classic cars).I have restored many TR,S but because the bad workmanship was covered up with so much filler it was touch and go wether to keep it or sell it on.Adrian and Valentino( owners) came round to inspect my TR5 and give me their opinion.The discussion went well and a further visit ensued with Paul and Adrian looking at the work involved very closely.
A price was quoted which was followed up with a written one.You can tell that they are enthusiastic about classic cars as they are owners themselves.I agreed that they will do the body work and paint my TR and it was collected very soon after.
They have a open door policy and actively encourage this to view the on going work.
My TR5 was a mess,much more than we realised and more panels had to be bought.
The work being done is to a very high standard and my standard is high as witnessed by my own restored TR5 (Jas).
Eddy is doing almost all the work and in a fashion that I recognise from doing my own work in the recent past.
This is a young company with very a good skill set and will grow under the leadership of Adrian and Valentino.
